Everywhere I looked, a strong, powerful woman glowed. As the conversations unfolded, it became clear that mentorship was something everyone there valued, but few had actually experienced. The young professionals expressed the need for guidance and trouble navigating the unspoken rules of the workplace. The seasoned professionals felt that they had so much wisdom to offer but feared imposing their perspective on those unwilling to learn from them.

As I transition out of my twenties, I have been taking a look back at 30 of my most proud moments from this past decade. A primary motivator for this walk down memory lane has been to keep me from giving myself a list of things I want to do in this upcoming decade. I have a tendency to push myself forward without giving myself space to pause and appreciate a job well done.
